dallas show added
we just added a dallas show to wrap up our texas believer tour. its at the hurricane grill on greenville ave. should be a good time to get some dinner and drinks, finish up the football games, and see some rock and roll. early show starts at 7:30.
also, here are some more pictures from the fort worth show.
(if you want to save them, its better from the previously mentioned flickr page)

pleasant surprise
i don't want to be good or be bad anymore.
oh, wherever i go there's a note on my door:
"words we just make up to help in the fall"
and i don't have time to make sense of it all.
and i don't want to see you and start telling lies.
so when we get together, speak with the light
like the tree speaks a trance to the break of the dawn
cuz my thoughts get too tired and my words are all gone.
oh and did we even mention that we have some cool shows coming up
(including the start of a texas tour)????

texas we love you
i just got back to dallas after a late night of practicing for the texas version of the believers. we worked on a bunch of songs and look forward to bringing them to any and all eager listeners after christmas. we got fast jams, slow jams, jam jams, and more jams. its going to be a great time playing with these guys in texas so keep your eye on show dates and tell your friends.

(call me anytime call me anytime call me anytime)...strange. i'm having troubles coming up with a bridge to the second verse. maybe a rainbow room will help...

perpetual spring at the cave
well we spent the weekend creating the entrance/forest waterfall to the cave. nicole came over to help and continue to make paper her bitch. i couldn't be happier with the way the cave is turning out! as i return home, there are very few things i would rather see when i reach the top of the stairs than a blooming tree and a sparkling waterfall. the inside still needs a trip to the christmas light store and some detailing, but it should be finished soon. then we'll have a photo shoot or something to show you the tent in its entirety.
also spent the day yesterday on a new song for my project, come on sing along. check out myspace to listen to the fruit : www.myspace.com/comeonsingalong

"there's almost two miles of line here," he tells him. "don't let go"
i logged my first hours in the cave tonight. it is a fine place. i only wish i had more to show for the time...
i'm working to finish an ep before the believers kick it in gear. click the link (www.myspace.com/comeonsingalong)for a peak.
finally, Navidson stops in front of an entrance much larger than the rest. it arcs high above his head and yawns into an undisturbed blackness. his flashlight finds the floor but no walls and, for the first time, no ceiling.
only now do we begin to see how big Navidson's house really is.

love is electric
"It's perfectly true, as philosophers say, that life must be understood backwards. But they forget the other proposition, that it must be lived forewords. And if one thinks that over it becomes more and more evident that life can never really be understood in time simply because at no particular moment can i find the necessary resting place from which to understand it - backwards."

the new tent
2nd to die
Perhaps this is the beginning of something much bigger then what i'm actually, knowingly beginning.
I didn't go to work today. Work is a junior high in East New York Brooklyn. At 7:07 i called in sick. Today i want to write and record, plan my next unit and go to guitar center and the fabric store (and set up THIS blog). It would be nice to accomplish all of this and then be able to set up the tent.
